UKiset Tutoring

UKiset is an entrance assessment commonly used by British independent schools and boarding schools when evaluating international applicants. The assessment measures a student’s academic potential, English ability, reasoning skills, and mathematical understanding, allowing schools to compare overseas applicants with students of the same age in the UK education system.

Many international students find UKiset challenging because the question styles, reasoning skills, and time pressure may be very different from their local school curriculum. In particular, non-verbal reasoning and mathematical reasoning sections are often unfamiliar for students who have not previously prepared for British-style entrance examinations.

Vic provides tutoring focused primarily on UKiset Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Lessons help students strengthen mathematical foundations, improve logical reasoning, and develop more efficient problem-solving strategies under timed examination conditions.

For Non-Verbal Reasoning, students learn how to identify patterns, analyse spatial relationships, and approach unfamiliar reasoning questions more systematically. Many students initially struggle not because the concepts are extremely advanced, but because they are unfamiliar with the style and speed required in UKiset examinations.

With over 15 years of teaching experience working with international school and boarding school students, Vic helps students build greater confidence and improve examination performance through structured preparation and guided practice.
